Tae agus Plé

Tae agus Plé is a lunchtime Irish language club that provides students with the opportunity to practise and develop their spoken Irish in a relaxed, informal and friendly environment.

The aim of the club is to encourage students to use Irish in everyday conversations outside the traditional classroom setting, helping them to build confidence and improve their fluency in the language. Students can chat with their peers, discuss topics of interest and enjoy using the Irish they have learned in school in a fun and meaningful way. Tea and biscuits are provided, creating a welcoming and casual atmosphere where students can socialise, make new friends and enjoy the experience of speaking Irish without the pressure of formal lessons or assessments.

Tae agus Plé promotes a positive attitude towards the Irish language and encourages students to embrace and appreciate it as a living language.
