St. Mary’s College is run by a dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic staff that aim to ensure that every student reaches their full potential academically, pastorally and spiritually.

The school employs specialist teachers in each subject area who ensure that the highest standards and quality of education are provided for. Subject teachers aim to widen and deepen students’ knowledge and appreciation of their areas of expertise, whilst also ensuring that they develop important transferable skills. Subject teachers work in conjunction with students and parents to realise these aims, with parents kept up-to-date on the academic progress of their son/daughter on an on-going basis. Each year group is under the care of a Year Head and Year Team who monitor the progress and pastoral needs of the students.

Subject Teachers, Year Heads, Year Teams, The Learning Support Team, Chaplains, Pastoral and Guidance Counsellors and the Principal and Deputy Principals all work together to offer academic and pastoral support to students with the aim of helping them grow into mature well-rounded individuals.
