Chuaigh daltaí ón Chúigiú Bliain ar thuras go Lios Dúin Bhearna agus Inis Mór le déanaí le Roinn na Gaeilge i gColáiste Mhuire. Bhí cúpla lá lán d’imeachtaí spleodracha eagraithe dóibh – ina measc thug siad cuairt ar Phluaiseanna na hAille Buí agus Aillte an Mhothair, agus chuaigh siad ar an mbád go dtí an t-oileán Gaeltachta Inis Mór, áit a ndeachaigh siad ag rothaíocht timpeall an oileáin agus dhreap siad go barr Dhún Aonghasa leis na radharcanna maorga a fheiceáil. Bhí siad gnóthach san oíche fosta le ceol, damhsa agus dioscónna eagraithe dóibh. Bhí am den chéad scoth ann!
Fifth year pupils from St. Mary’s College went on a trip to Lisdoonvarna agus Inis Mór recently with the Irish Department. They participated in a jam-packed few days of activities – this included visiting the Aillwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher, and they went by boat to the Gaeltacht island Inis Mór, where they went cycling around the island and climbed to the top of Dún Aonghasa to see the majestic views. They were kept busy at night also with karaoke, music and discos all organised. Bhí am den chéad scoth ann!
