Recent graduate from St. Mary’s College, student Eunice Fasan, has been awarded a prestigious ‘Intel Women in Technology’ Scholarship. Out of 120 applicants, Eunice and 16 other ladies were selected as recipients of the Intel Women in Technology Scholarships following their Leaving Certificate. This scholarship aims to encourage more young women to pursue careers in science and technology, as well as giving them first-hand experience of the career opportunities at Intel. The scholarship is inclusive of €2000 per year of study, an assigned Intel mentor throughout her time in college and work placements on campus in Intel’s Leixlip plant.
Eunice is currently a freshman in Trinity College studying Computer Science, French and Linguistics and considers it an honour to have been selected for this scholarship. An excellent student, we congratulate her wholeheartedly and wish her every success for the future.
